Clio - Your Guide to History is a free iPhone app developed by Clio Foundation. Named after the ancient Greek muse of history, Clio aims to bring history to life by providing users with a virtual guide to landmarks, museums, and historic sites.
Using your present location, Clio helps you navigate to nearby historical points of interest. But what sets Clio apart is its ability to act as a virtual time machine. Users can view images and videos, as well as listen to and read about historic events that took place around them.
